He and the other leaders set the tone from day one and helped in making this such a positive, wonderful experience. They brought the whole group together which was the key in making this a really special trip. Danielle had nothing but positive things to say about her experience. She loved working with the Christmas Wish Foundation and only wished that they could have spent even more time with the children. Our visit to the Costa Rica Humanitarian Foundation was very meaningful and worthwhile. For me, it was a brand new experience working in La Carpio and my eyes were opened when I saw the way some people live. I am motivated to go home with a new appreciation for what I have and continue community service. My Director Julie was very organized and my leader Josh was so energetic, positive, and fun. Every aspect of this trip went beyond my expectations. The trip members and leaders were great and the service projects were outstanding. I can safely say I was so nervous to come on this trip alone and now I don't want to go home. I've made such good friends that will last forever! This was truly the trip of a lifetime. It has only been two days and I’ve talked to everyone who went on the trip already. The program is wonderful. Both Allie & now Jessica had amazing trips. Our third daughter will probably go on one of your tours! We cannot thank you enough for the wonderful experience Annie had on her trip. We cannot believe all the things she did and experienced. She has not stopped talking about it. She loved every counselor, every person she was with, everything she did. She can't stop raving about what a wonderful time she had which tells us that you guys plan great itineraries, which along with a great staff has made for a lifetime of great memories for our kids. She played the song that was played every morning on the bus and we all were choked up! What a wonderful professional program you run and we know that can't be easy as you're dealing with personalities from everywhere and they are all teenagers. You kept them engaged, active, and excited, and the special relationships they made will be forever. Our thanks to your wonderful staff who we know worked tirelessly. It is a tremendous amount of work, physically and mentally to keep everything so well organized and together and going. The planning I can't even imagine. When we picked Annie up from the airport she was so happily exhausted and emotional. Her eyes were swollen all day from the crying and she wells up every time she talks about all of you. She has downloaded all her photos on our computers where we have constant montages playing so we get to enjoy everything as well. She will always carry you in heart. It’s a definite gift you all have to be able to keep all these teenagers from all over with all different personalities engaged, happy and thriving. We will continue to rave about all of you and encourage everyone to feel confident with choosing WCC. Just wanted you to know how wonderful a time our son Kevin had. Your tour was wonderful. We felt he was having a great time and we felt he was safe and very happy. The counselors and kids were just fabulous. Thank you for such a great trip for our son. Something he will never forget. I had the most amazing time on my tour this summer. I never could have guessed how amazing it would be. I hope to go on another next summer. I loved the director Dersh and my staff was amazing! LAKE FOREST Working with the kids in Costa Rica made an impact on me. It was all very well planned and balanced. This trip has changed me forever. I have definitely grown up a lot! Olivia Kellman Kara’s Outdoor Adventure was well planned and coordinated. The activities and safety concerns were well considered. The effort was made to build self-esteem and self-confidence. This was one of the most positive aspects. Supervision was secure and the group seemed encouraged to extend beyond their comfort levels. Thanks. LINCOLNSHIRE I met the most amazing people and connected with them this summer in Ecuador. The trip helped me grow as a person and appreciate the life I have by seeing another way of living. Building the house with Habitat for Humanity was my favorite community service project because I could see its progress and I felt it challenged me to work harder than ever before. Jeremy Kreamer On behalf of Jori, we would like to thank Westcoast Connection for the fabulous time our daughter had for four weeks. Every time we talked to her, she always seemed so upbeat. We did not hear one complaint from her. You guys did an excellent job. It's hard to believe that four weeks have passed so quickly. Eric said it was a once in a lifetime experience to be able to walk the same fairways as the greats and rated it an overall 5-star trip! The golf was top notch - both the instruction and the courses. As you promised, he came home as happy as I’ve ever seen him! You are great at what you do! Call me, I’ll rave some more!! NORTHBROOK Everything was taken care of with the most excellent care, as was the case last year when Montana went to California. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience for Montana. I can only wish that my friends will experience the magic these trips generate. The community service projects introduced me to a new outlook on life: one that consisted of valuing what is truly important-health, family, and love. The kids at the schools and orphanage who seemed so happy with so little helped me realize this. It was truly inspiring. Every day seemed to outshine the one before and teach me a new life lesson. Kaitlyn had an absolutely amazing experience! She truly loved everything - the other teens on the excursion, the director, counselors, and of course France and its beauty, museums, art, history, beaches, food, fashion, perfume, concerts, everything! Her stories are wonderful recounts of her journey and I could listen endlessly. She said this was the most incredible experience and we can see it in her eyes and her smile. I really have never been so happy and energetic in my life as I was on this trip. I loved it so much! The activities were so awesome and different than anything I've done before. I felt I really made a difference, especially at the Boys and Girls Club in Honolulu where the group felt very connected to the kids. Our biggest dilemma is what WCC trip to pick next summer. The WCC information and communication was so incredibly thorough and easy to understand. Every “T” was crossed and every “I” was dotted. WCC left a parent with no room for confusion or concern. Stefanie will tell you it was the best 3 weeks of her entire life! Thanks for offering such an amazing trip itinerary and experience. We are very pleased and happy parents. This was the best summer ever! There has was never a moment on the trip where there wasn’t something to do or see. The staff and the group were so well put together. Everything was always organized and interested everyone. Shelby had the best time of her life! There was not one thing she did not like about the trip. She went on this trip all by herself and did not know anyone and made the best friends, she hasn't stopped talking about it! Breana had the most incredible summer of her life! Besides the amazing staff you provide, the organization of your trip was incredible. On my Ecuador trip, I not only felt the satisfaction of giving back to the community through community service but, I also did activities I would have never thought I would do.
