As globally aware as I thought I was, going to Costa Rica made me realize I still had a lot to learn.  Over my 3 weeks of service and adventure, I grew as an individual and I am truly grateful.  The service I participated in was not only fulfilling, but also life changing and hands down the most rewarding experience of my life.  Making a personal connection with kids in La Carpio and then helping their community is what made this a life changing experience.
