ONTARIO BARRIE I enjoyed running the day camp in Costa Rica the most because we got to see firsthand the impact that our time had on the children. This program has shown me that I don’t want to take things for granted. DUNDAS This trip was completely and utterly incredible and better than my expectations. Everything about the program was better than anything I could have ever imagined. I have met the most incredible friends that will last a lifetime. The leaders and the members on this trip have impacted my life forever and have taught me so much. Our work at the different schools was not only meaningful and fulfilling, but they have also provided me with memories and bonds with the children that will be a part of me for as long as I live. These were the best days of my life! KINGSTON Staff were fun, locations beautiful, met cool people from all over, and our Trip Director Amy was excellent and fun. MAPLE Matthew had a wonderful time on his trip this summer. He was very enthusiastic about the staff - he felt that they were all very caring and competent. Thank you! NEPEAN
This was an amazing trip. A well oiled machine, very organized. Lewis, until Westcoast Connection, has never had a summer that he so thoroughly enjoyed. This summer I received text messages saying "this is the best summer of my life times 10" and " just when I thought it couldn't get any better, the next day is better than the day before, unbelievable". It makes us thrilled we've sent two of our three children on this trip and now our third can hardly wait until she's old enough to go. Dylan had the time of his life. Everything he tells me is extremely positive. He says the staff was great and all the kids were wonderful and got along very well. From what I can tell this was his best summer ever; and he has always enjoyed camp very much. Howard Yegendorf My favorite community service project was building bunk beds and playing with kids at camp because we learned about the community and it was hands on. I felt like we made a difference. Everything was fantastic. This program has made me more motivated to do good for the world. This was the best Westcoast Connection trip I've been on in over 3 years. A trip that has aims and goals as noble as this one is bound to attract some very kind people and that adds to the fantastic and useful service as well as the exciting itinerary. I would recommend this trip to anyone, as it is truly life changing. We were impressed with the number and variety of activities offered and will definitely consider another Westcoast trip for him in the future. My director Simon truly made the trip what it was. He is so down to earth and relates and listens to the kids so well. I loved zorbing-it was so much fun! On this trip I had great new experiences with new friends and memories that last a lifetime. My director Simon was amazing, enthusiastic and always wanted to have fun. He had so much spirit and energy. I had the best summer ever on Westcoast. The friends I made will last forever. The places and activities were incredible and the staff was great. The memories will last you a lifetime. There's nothing like Westcoast Connection. I wouldn't trade my Westcoast summer for anything! Westcoast Connection certainly lived up to its reputation. We couldn't be happier for Shawna and her entire group for the absolutely wonderful experience that this trip provided. Every conversation started with "Mom, today was the best day of my life!" How can you top that? I was so impressed how we were continuously kept up to date by the newsletters and the photos that were uploaded so regularly! I felt like we were traveling along with our kids. The methods that you use to integrate the kids with each other so that everyone is part of one cohesive group are fantastic. The friendships she made will certainly last a long time as these kids shared such amazing experiences together. I can't say enough about the trip director Simon according to the feedback from my daughter, as well as all the staff, who really have this trip down to a science. Thank you for providing this growing and developmental experience, and memories that will last a lifetime! My director Simon made my summer incredible! This was an experience of a lifetime. Westcoast Connection exceeded my expectations. After every day, I claimed it was the best day ever but the following day was even better. My Director Mike was a very kind, truthful and hilarious guy. He made everyone feel comfortable yet knew when to be serious. The program itself was incredible. I would recommend Westcoast to anyone. From the breathtaking sights to the unforgettable people, Westcoast has been an adventure of its own that will never be forgotten. Bonds were made that will be forever unbreakable and memories that will be cherished forever. The Australia trip was well organized and the staff were incredible. It was a great combination of culture, history and fun. Symon was a very kind and comforting Director. He was organized and made the trip run smoothly. When I came on this trip I didn’t know what to expect, but this was definitely above anything I would have imagined. My favorite project was the Maricopa County Animal Care because it was fun to walk around with the dogs and take care of them. This program really opened me up to new experiences and made me a well-rounded person. This trip was an amazing way to spend the summer. I came out with a whole new perspective of the world along with friendships that will last a lifetime. Great trip - I had the best summer ever. My summer on Westcoast was amazing! We were kept up to date and got some wonderful descriptions of all the fabulous activities - sometimes in greater detail than we could get from our own son! Cody really enjoyed himself. It was very meaningful. This program has taught me to appreciate the most important things in life such as food, shelter, family, and love. Thanks to the amazing staff and group members. Ben had the best time! His experience of helping others in Costa Rica and seeing people less fortunate than himself has broadened his world, and he appears to be more grateful for his situation living here. We are so proud of the volunteer work Ben did and we are thankful for the wonderful direction and leadership you provided in making his experience meaningful. He also had a lot of fun with leaders Jen and Mike and he made many new friends. Our older son attended the Hawaii community service program a couple of years ago and he also had a positive experience balancing rewarding volunteer work with fun adventures and we were expecting the same for Ben's trip to Costa Rica. I've been to California before but with Westcoast Connection the experience was completely different. I will never forget this trip! The staff was great and I know I made friends that will last a lifetime! Kids Kitchen was my favorite service project in Alaska because I was actually accomplishing something and making a difference in the lives of those kids. This program has enabled me to learn a lot about myself and to grow as a person. Not only did I become more independent, but I matured too and gained an appreciation for new things. I met such great people and the travel experience was very rewarding. Thanks so much for everything on Dillan's trip. I really appreciate the fabulous program that you guys run. I loved my director Sam. She was so responsible and a lot of fun too. This trip has been a once in a lifetime opportunity. I have overcome many fears and didn't get homesick once! Working at the Sihlekisi school was the best part of the trip because the kids were so much fun to play with. This program has prepared me for future things involving community service. It was so great and I am excited to do another Westcoast/360 trip next summer! The Acornhoek community project was the best because we really helped the kids and did a lot for the community. It showed me a new way to view the world. The balance between service and adventure was great. The service gave me a new perspective on life and I loved putting a smile on the kids' faces. It was a summer of a lifetime! Thanks for providing such a wonderful trip of a lifetime for our son Joey. We were very impressed with the updates in what the kids were doing and where they were. We really enjoyed receiving the online photos. This really helped us to feel more connected with what the kids were doing, that they were safe and happy, and being well looked after. These trips are great for anyone no matter what their interests. Whether you like sight seeing or love playing sports there is something for everyone. It is a great experience and you get to meet new people and see new places. My director Matt was incredible! All of the staff was excellent and fun to be around. The kids were so cool and really outgoing! European Experience was a blast! My director Samantha was amazing! All the places were so cool and I made so many new friends! I loved this trip so much and I had the best time. It was amazing! I loved my director Simon. He was so laid back and cool. This trip was amazing and was by far the best summer ever! I heard this was going to be an unbelievable trip and it was! My director Andy was amazing! The trip was an amazing experience; you meet people from all around the world and have fun at the same time. This trip was a great way to learn different things about other people and yourself! Sy's trip out West was awesome. He came back with story upon story and was so happy to tell us all the highlights. Certainly a trip of a lifetime, and one he will never forget. Michael's trip to Costa Rica was again, an awesome experience. He loved the horseback riding, rappelling down waterfalls, hanging at the beach, and so much more. Such a wonderful experience to meet new people, learn about different cultures and help communities that really need assistance. Everyone will have these wonderful memories for a lifetime. I have been able to see how the statement “money can't buy happiness" is true. I saw how the less privileged children in Africa are the happiest I have ever met and I will now appreciate everything life has to offer. What a trip this was!!!... Both Zach and Camille came back from the Australia and Hawaii trip totally pleased with the experience. We have to give Westcoast Connection credit because they are both tough customers. They loved it all. Zach tried out lots of challenging new things, e.g., scuba-diving the Great Barrier Reef on his birthday, zorbing, and surfing. Camille really enjoyed the breathtaking vistas, the white water rafting, the wildlife, and making lots of new friends. Thanks Westcoast Connection for another great summer! This was an amazing trip. It was well directed and had terrific staff! I can't wait to do another trip next year! Thanks so much for all the great memories. This experience was unforgettable. This trip has made me appreciate what I have and made me empathize with underprivileged people more. It was well balanced and my director Nick was amazing - always there and lots of fun. On 360 Community Service I made friendships that will last a lifetime. I learned to appreciate everything I have, and to take nothing for granted. This trip was a fun and enriching experience. I enjoyed working with Habitat for Humanity the most because we were working hard for a worthy cause. I thought that it was a good balance between work and play. My trip was amazing and adventurous. Go on it - you'll love it! This was the best summer of my life! I loved ALL of my counselors and they were all amazing, caring, helping, and funny people! I came knowing no one and I left with a new family of 44 new best friends. I saw things I could only dream about and did things I only saw in movies. It was an amazing experience that will last a lifetime! Thanks so much for everything. Sarah had the most wonderful experience. She made lasting friendships, was exposed to lots of culture and most of all had fun. As parents, we were reassured with the high quality of supervision and safety. We enjoyed reading the updates sent in by the trip leaders and viewing the pictures, allowing us to be part of the experience. Sarah will never forget this summer. Thanks Westcoast for making lasting memories! I gained a thorough appreciation for every aspect of Europe by touring with Westcoast Connection and the staff. I was able to meet and make new friends while traveling. After my second year on Westcoast, I have to say the trips create unforgettable experiences. My Westcoast experience couldn't have been more amazing. It rose above all my expectations. The leaders were so much fun to be around and they looked out for everyone. I made lots of friends I know I will keep in touch with. I can't wait for next summer to do my next tour with you. They are superb! We were extremely pleased with Jake's experience. Each day was as good if not better than the previous. From our initial contact with Mitch to Jake's group leaders Dennis and Rachel, everything was done in a very professional and organized manner. In Jake's words "incredible, unbelievable, amazing" are only a few which describes his experience. Jake has shared a unique experience and made life-long friends. We thank all who have worked so hard to make this adventure so memorable. He is anxiously awaiting next year's programs. My favorite project was Habitat for Humanity because I felt like I was directly helping people in need. This trip was a fantastic combination of community service, learning Spanish & adventure. It was an unforgettable experience. This program has helped me discover a new culture, a new country and new people and the service was eye opening. This trip far exceeded my expectations. It has allowed me to become a more open minded and outgoing person. This trip was an amazing experience that I will always remember for the rest of my life. It has made me appreciate everything I have a lot more and made me feel very fortunate. Nicole had a great trip with very good community service projects. The entire experience blew my mind - great sites and great staff! Shoshanna, the tour director, was caring, understanding, and easy to relate to. The staff was spectacular. Experiencing this trip has made me understand how amazing the world actually is. This was my third Westcoast Connection experience and thanks for another great summer. Brent thought that last year’s trip with you to California was great; however in the 2 or 3 times we spoke to him this summer he has said that this trip is "so amazing". We finally had to cut him off because he was just going on and on about all the things they had been doing and how it was so incredible. He has mentioned virtually every time he has called how great the trip leaders have been. The pictures on the website are great and clearly show what a great time the kids are having. Our only real complaint is that Westcoast doesn't offer an adult version of this trip! Kudos to the entire team for offering such a great experience for the kids. Your entire team should be commended for putting together this amazing adventure for the kids. Our only problem will likely be which Westcoast adventure to send Brent on next year. Thanks for doing such an amazing job.
