The program exceeded my expectations. You allow teens to have a fun and meaningful summer through the combination of community service and adventure activities. The program has changed me by giving me more perspective. It has also opened my eyes to what is out there and how I can help. The program has showed me how great you can feel when you give back. My favorite community service project was making the bunk beds and working at the kids day camp with the Costa Rican Humanitarian Foundation. I found this experience the most rewarding. It also gave me an opportunity to be grateful for the things I have while learning something about myself as well!

From start to finish, the entire process was amazing. Simon the trip director "ROCKED and was the best ever!" I wish you could have heard how happy Garrett and his friends were and what they said about their trip! Seeing them so happy was WAY BEYOND my wildest expectations! This was Garrett's first time away from home, and he LOVED Costa Rica, the friends he made, and especially building a wall around a school and hanging around with the local kids from the school. There was nothing he didn't love. Garrett and friends will be back next year on another great Westcoast Connection / 360° Student Travel destination! When we built the bunk beds in La Carpio we were able to experience the environment and understand the complete impact we were making.  The language teachers were amazing and made it fun to learn.  The staff caught our attention with many Spanish activities.  I would definitely do this again in a heart beat.
